As some people here know, I have an Abyssinian cat (Nile Chilli Pepper An Aby from Aus!). .... adopt from purebred cat rescue organisations. There are websites that manage this and a good number of the cat clubs (clubs that relate to an individual cat breed) run rescue departments.
